Separating Materials

Science students

The year 7 Science curriculum had students dabbling around the science laboratories last term. They were exploring materials that are common in our environments and used different ways to separate elements. Magnetism, sieves, filtering, flocculation and evaporation were methods used with students applying the learnt safety guidelines so they can now successfully and safely complete experiments. Practical science is a great advantage of the curriculum in high school for our junior students.
